Richard Polsky, Ph.D., a certified applied animal behaviorist, been teaching the puppy classes for the last 21 years. The first class was taught in Palms Park in West LA in 1985 and since then the classes have been ongoing without interruption. Thirteen years later, in January 1998, Dr. Polsky was invited to begin teaching the classes at Mar Vista Park. Thousands of puppies and owners have been sucessfully trained. This fact, assures you that both you and your puppy will receive competent instruction - both in obedience procedures and in the methods to solve common behavioral problems like housesoiling, mouthing-and-biting, jumping on people, and destructive chewing.

Second, You're assured of receiving personalized instruction for your puppy!!

This is accomplished in three ways:

(a) Dr. Polsky will meet meet with you and your puppy before the classes start for registration purposes. Questions are answered, your puppy's temperament assessed, and the training methods most suited to you and your dog's needs are reviewed;

(b) Class size is kept relatively small - Average class size is about 14 puppies;

(c) Free telephone support between the weekly class sessions is provided and encouraged.

The policy of Dr. Polsky's GroupTraining Program is as follows: If you are not satisfied with the results, then you will be allowed to participate with your puppy for extra class sessions as you feel needed at no extra charge.
